Bone Memory Missions

Some things can’t be explained…only remembered. This one came to me like a whisper from deep inside. If it hits you in the ribs, it was meant to. (This one is for you, Michael)
Bone Memory Missions
Some men have a kind of memory in their bones.
Not of what they’ve done…
…but of what they’re meant to do.
When something isn’t right, you feel it…long before you admit it.
School.
Jobs.
Relationships.
Friendships.
There’s always that flicker in the gut…
…the shoulder tension…
…the weight behind the eyes.
You try to reason it away.
You make excuses.
You tell yourself it’s “not that bad.”
But the body knows.
The bones know.
And when something is right?
You don’t need hype.
You feel the ease.
You breathe deeper.
You stop bracing.
Some men live their whole lives ignoring the signal.
Others learn to trust it.
And the rare few?
They build their entire lives around it.
Those are the men on bone memory missions.
Not chasing dopamine.
Not chasing dollars.
But pulled forward by something older…
…and truer.
Becoming what they were meant to be.
